where is it?
So today i cleaned my ebps,tube and fittings. The fitting in the bracket was plugged solid. Got that opened up and the tube cleaned out. My real question is where is the exhaust back pressure valve? Is it the butterfly valve on the turbo? And what would happen if i unhooked the vac.line to it?

The "vacuum" line is the red pressure line to the wastegate control - different beast. The EBPV is oil powered, and the wastegate releases with a combination of control from the red line and spring pressure on the valve. removing and capping the red line is a common mod to get more boost, but the spring still releases boost into the exhaust when it reaches a set point.
I set my wastegate to release at 35 PSI boost. I can surpass that, but then I'm sneaking up on straining my tired valve springs - risking profound havoc under the hood.
