s a few photos..I know we all like pics!
Looks really nice! What is the radiator from and the story of the flat top on it. Do you have a reverse tilt hood? You pay attention to the details obviously, nice looking engine!
nice job
have a ? I see the column in side but the pic does not show the column on the firewall side would you show the column and the shift linkage
thank you
Yea i can post a couple pics from the trans linkage tonight.
The radiator is just a generic 31 inch crossflow. I just didnt like the looks of the factory radiator. It had a really ugly mount for a non factory one when i bought it.I just modified the factory top by cutting it down, welding it in, and bending the top piece to fit the new radiator, and then rubber mounted it all. As for the hood, no its got standard hinges on it. I just like the looks better.
Your truck is coming along nicely...this is the fun time when you can start seeing the fruits of your labor!
I went with a similar core support/radiator setup on my truck...I think it makes the engine compartment look much cleaner. I am using rear hinges so I really wanted the core support area to look nice...
I hear ya . Seems like for so long you spend a lot of nights measuring, figuring, welding. Grinding , and sometimes even though you put in the hours, it just doesn't look like it. I feel I'm finally past that stage! ... Untill the bodywork and blocking begins!! Lol
What a nice clean build. I especially like the look of the widened rear fenders and the way the wheels fill them. All those nights of figuring, welding, and grinding are very apparent at this point. Nice attention to detail.
Hey Curt I'm getting ready to order some coilovers and have some questions. What kind of coilovers are you running and whats the Extended,Compressed Length also it won't work for my application but curious what spring rate you went with
