3 on the tree picture request

Okay, this is for anyone willing to pop their steering wheel off. I'm trying to get my truck back to a 3 speed on the column (even tho' I have a floor setup....hey, I like options!).

Anyway, my column is missing the piece that holds the shifting mechanism in place. I need a picture of what's missing to see if I can make something for it, or if I have to scout around for yet ANOTHER *!@#&! Steering Column!

Shane,

I only have information up to 1956, so I don't know if the arrangement and parts are the same on your 1960. For what it's worth, here are some illustrations and pictures.

Hey George!

Can you take a picture of inside the top of the column? In the one picture, you see that round, machined piece hanging out w/the spring on the bottom? I have that piece in my toolbox, but don't know what the part looks like that secures it to the inside of the column.

Have mine from a '60 already apart. It's held on by a small bracket, rivited on to the cup.

Hope this helps.
