MAF Replacement???
I have a 2013 F-150 Ecoboost. A couple of weeks ago I started getting a check engine light. It comes only when it wants to. Took it to my local dealer. They say it is a faulty MAF sensor. They also tell me that Ford warranty on this expired at 36,000 miles. My truck had 36,200 miles at the time of the diagnosis.
Is there a Ford rep. on the board that could help me out? Thanks!

Sounds like your looking for a good faith repair from the dealer. Did you ask the dealer if they would cover it even though you just passed 36k miles?
The MAF sensor is an easy swap. You may try to clean the MAF sensor first and see if that cures your problem before swapping it out. Are you running an aftermarket air filter by chance?

Ecoboost doesn't have a MAF sensor. It is a speed density system.
Are you sure they didn't say MAP sensor? This isn't even worth the bother of warranty. It is a $35 part at an auto parts store and takes 1 minute to swap. I have never looked, but I think there are two, one before the intercooler and one in the intake manifold. Just ask them which one is bad and do it yourself.
