OBDII Splitter

so i would like to split my OBDII connection so i can run my tuner and torque pro app so i can monitor more things at one time.

i have read tons of posts, and reviews, many people are saying it will only let one device work at a time, and others are saying theirs works fine for both devices at the same time.

any of you guys had any luck with one of these and running 2 devices at the same time?

While I have no first hand experience with them from what I have read some brands work better than others. You need to look closely at the specifications and literature.
Often the better function the more $$.

When your paying more attention to gauges, it leaves less time to drive, I know it's not my concern, just be careful, don't want to see something bad happen.

I just tried this. I wanted to run the SG-II and the DashBoss without having to constantly change the connection. I bought one of the splitters off Amazon for $15, no matter how many times I tried I couldn't get both to connect at the same time. There isn't a brand name on the one I got, so I can't steer you away from this particular model.

The SGII does not play well with others. Been there done that.
The SGII locks up some of the PIDs

well darn. I'll just get torque pro so I can put a bunch of things on one screen and just leave the edge unplugged.
what are you guys using to mount a small tablet in the truck? I have one I never use that I could put in there strictly for that purpose.

In that case, anyone want a good deal on a ScanGauge 2?

One option I forgot.
You can put 2 SGII on. Just use an RJ45 cable from one to the next.
Then you have 8 PIDs that you can watch. The one down side is as
you add devices to the dasy chain they slow down with new unit added.

Sorry I forgot about that option.

Using a RAM mount with 3" extension to get it out from under the windshield, works well with a 7" Samsung pad.
