Fuel filter

Ok so the speakership wants 200 bucks to replace and the filter alone is 100 bucks. Found some at auto zone for 65 and 85 or so. How often do you change your filter and where do you buy them?
Thanks

10k mile intervals is a safe range. Make sure to only use Motorcraft filters. I recently extended mine out to 15k mile intervals because I got tired of throwing away clean filters at 10k miles. I only buy fuel from two places though.

I order mine on line, but the name has currently slipped my mind. Cheapest place I have found and I order them 3 at a time along with a handful of air and oil filters.

I was doing 13,700 on the mile change but I'm going to go out to an even 15K just because I can.

I run 15k on mine (fuel). Motorcraft only. I use the socket and a strap wrench because that DFCM plastic bowl gets stuck on there.

Amazon actually works out cheaper for me. Since I'm already an Amazon Prime member, there are no shipping cost. I haven't purchased any of the filters yet but will soon. Rather have them ready on the shelf.

Me too. I cost them so much on Prime shipping, it's not funny. I have 2/3 orders a week.
