Question

Trailer light harness

I have an 04 F-150 which came with a factory installed 4 pin trailer wiring harness. I want to upgrade to a six pin set-up. Have not had time to track down where the wires for the 4 pin tie into the system but does any know if I can just buy the six pin connector with harness and just plug into the original tie-in point?

check with hoppy...they make trailer light kits and connectors...

You might want to check the harness under the rear bumper for a spare plug. My '05 has the 4 pin & the 7 pin(or is it 6 pin ?) connectors.

look for another pin set. especially if your truck has the "tow" package. I've got both on mine
