Power steering problems

Have an 03 Escape / 3.0 and the steering catches when turning left. Steering wheel jerks. Replaced the pump about 2 mo. ago and seemed to help, but now it is back. Is there something else I should look at?

Are you sure all the air is out of the system? It should be by now. And if so, so you have enough fluid?
And you're sure there is nothing physically binding any of the components?

I am pretty sure all the air is out. It is on my daughters car so I am relaying what she tells me. I won't be able to look at it until Sat.
Mostly I was wondering if a rack & pinion may cause it, or an axle? Way she talks it is something binding up. I appreciate all the in put I can get.

Could be the rack, could be one of the CV joints, could be a ball joint, could be a tie rod or tie rod end.

Lots of "could be"s, it needs to be looked at by someone that is familiar with what to look for, whether that be you or a shop mechanic.
