Looking for some information :)
I own a 2006 Ford Escape XLT V6 AWD and I have a transmission oil leak.
At first, it was leaking all over. Every morning, it would have a large puddle. In about a week-week and a half ish, we have put in about 6 liters of fluid.
I noticed that only a few drops come out during the day/night when I park flat or downhill but when I park uphill, there is a puddle after a few hours.
It was perfectly fine until June 14. I have owned it since October 21.
I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what it may be.
I should also add that it has been shifting perfectly fine. It is just the leak.
Thank you!!

I would suggest using an engine cleaning solution to get rid of any current fluid, and then drive a bit to see if the leak occurs while in motion, then park facing uphill. You should be able to see where the fluid is escaping. I would suspect that the axle seals may be leaking as the fluid level at the seals would be higher when parked facing uphill.
There is also a sensor that is fitted to the rear side of the transmission, but it is up pretty 'high' I would have said. Clean it off, then observe closely... You might have to remove the shields from underneath the drivetrain to get good access to clean and for visibility.
