Well after almost 7 years of throwing money at my trusty 6.0, I finally decided I had seen enough. I would like to thank each and every one of you for the help you have given me through the years. I have enjoyed being part of the 6.0 family but now I have to move over to the 6.7L crowd. I traded for a 2014 F350 Lariat today. Its got all the bells and whistles and so far I really love it. I can't wait to hook it up to the 5th wheel and test the power. Thanks again and happy trails.
There's no shame in that at all. Esp given the newest of our SD 6.0's are 8 years old. Any older vehicle will require stuff to be done. The wife had already been eyeing up newer trucks for us. I keep telling her I am totally happily with mine for now. Enjoy the new truck and hopefully the trouble free period that should come with it.

We have waited and waited and I finally said I wouldn't let another one get away. I lost out on a 450 King Ranch last Monday because I waited and someone else paid for it first. I would have missed out on this one if I had not called the dealer at 9am Saturday and told them I was coming to get it after we made the deal Friday night. There was another guy there waiting to trade in his older F550 for it when I got there. He tried to talk me out of it. When I left with my new prize he was still there trying to buy a King Ranch. This one just hit 11k miles. Its a Lariat with navigation, factory 5th wheel hitch prep and just about everything else you can get save the moonroof, which I really never used on the old one. I stopped at the RV dealer just down the road and they gave me $575 trade in for my B&W companion towards a new B&W that fits the factory prep. So by the end of the day tomorrow I should be all set.
I don't know but I'm not turning a wrench on this one until 7yrs/85,000 miles. I got an extended warranty that covers almost everything until then, at least that is what they promised.
