Exhaust got oopsed

Apparently at some point a PO pulled the exhaust off of the cat ans removed the media, then re assembled with an exhaust clamp instead of welding. This is what allowed my whole exhaust behind the cat to be yanked off by a rock. I had to cut it all out on the road side with a hacksaw to get on my way. and until i can set aside some money to fix it right I put on a 90 degree elbow and turndown to make the exhaust exit behind the passenger side door. So, basically a straight pipe

My question is: is this going to cause any damage running it this way until I can afford repairs? To the truck, not my ears...

No, this won't cause any damage on it's own. Might damage your pocketbook if some unkindly roadside inspection results in a ticket, but if you mind your manners, that usually does not come to pass.

Nope won't hurt a thing. I've run a few of them that way for the entire time I owned them.
