Where is located ac expansion valve ford expedition 2006, 5.4 limited edition?
Need to replace the compressor and the Guy told me is located on the front dash board. And is a pain to get there. Pic. also help
Maybe the just want to sell me more parts the sales guy. So is good I don't need that part.
So to make sure, for the replacement ac compressor I will need to replace compressor, dryer? Anything else?
That only applies if you had a compressor "blow up", if you're replacing it fore some other reason, like internal bad bearing or similar it's unlikely to have pumped crap into the system and you don't have to replace so many other things. The dryer/accumulator is always recommended to replace though.

Alot of compressor manufacturers have started to require you to replace the condenser if you want the warranty on the new compressor. Even a system that didn't grenade has the potential for some metal in it. Since parallel flow condensers are not able to be flushed reliably, I wouldn't risk it.
Depends on which compressor you buy. The shop manual from Ford specifies that it's not necessary to replace condenser or expansion valves unless there is debris in the system. I guess the dealership has a way of checking this, but usually the system is OK unless the compressor has a catastrophic failure. Of course, if you're in the US the cost is 60 bucks for a new condenser, but if you're not in the US, shipping costs will add up. So, depends on if you're on a budget or not.
