Thanks for the advice on the oil pressure. Trying to keep the truck stock, and have been 'troubleshooting' the gauges (NONE work!!!). I've disassembled them all - and all SEEM to test ok. New Gas float and fuel gauge is working. I bought 2 oil pressure sending units and both do the same thing (80+), as does a used sender from a 70's Econoline van - not sure if it's ok. Maybe an entire batch of sending units for my truck went out bad - it's hard to believe. Gauge is ok, wire is ok, not grounded, 6v power to gauge, etc. Temp gauge still goes cold too. It will 'peg' if you ground it out, and it does 'register' connected to the fuel sending unit, so MAYBE the sender is bad on it also. Funny that ALL 3 went bad all at once though.
