I have researched the forum and still can't figure the problem. I have a 2000
F350 srw. The other day the windows started acting funny. Then they quit working all together and then just one would work. The mirrors stopped working and the door locks can only be controlled from the remote only. The radio works. It is not water related. I have disconnected the switches and re plugged them still nothing. When I started the truck this am , everything worked for about 30 seconds then stopped again . Any ideas?? Thanks Ron
** update PROBLEM found thanks to this site once again. It was the bundle of wires between the door and truck body . A broken black wire. I'll try and post a pic. Thanks to all who responded.

Reason: Found problem
I do realize that you only have master controls on the drivers door; however, when the locks and windows are failing on the drivers door, do they work if you use the switches on the other doors to control their respective functions?
If the truck sits for 30 minutes or longer everything will work initially then stop after about 30 seconds then you cannot operate anything from either window control. This is baffling to me and I am weak at diagnosing electrical.
It may be the switch in the driver's door, mine went bad. If it ever got water in it or just from use, they will wear out. As the driver's door switch also has the lock out switch I would be leaning towards a bad switch assembly on the driver's door.
Everything will work until I hit the drivers window down . Then the mirrors and door locks won't work along with the other windows. 10 minutes later all is working again until I hit the window switch.
I just read his (OP's) response in an email and clicked on the forum to write what Rich already wrote. The only other option I can think of it may be overloading the relay.
