She finally runs!!!!!!!

Here's a little clip of her idling. Took a couple hours to get the bugs worked out. First i had the distributor clocked 180 degrees. I've been waiting for this for 2.5 years

Very nice! It's so exciting to hear an engine running for the first time. I also did the 180 degrees distributor thing.

Now that's a sound that will make your day. Don't feel bad I fiddled with my plug wires for a year b4 I realized that a Ford Dist. turns a different direction than other cars I had in the past, plus the plugs are numbered different too. LOL

Thanks guys! I've been waiting so so long for this. I was extremely pumped to hear her run. Gotta couple small leaks i gotta address before i drive her, need to get from shocks, and seats in. Got the gauges installed and working last night, only problem is the oil pressure sending unit isn't working. Or, I don't have oil pressure

I took the wire off the sending unit and touched the block with it and the gauge went up. So I know the gauge works, but I think the sending unit is broken. the threaded rod that the nut screws onto, wiggles alot. I'll post some more pics in ny build thread
