I have a '99 F350 with what I thought was a factory 7 way trailer connector.
I have looked at it closely lately and now am unsure if it is OEM Ford.
It says "7 Way" right on the cover, I thought the factory ones had "Ford" on them.
This plug is hard wired at the plug itself, and then plugs in to the truck's wiring.
I am installing a 2008 REAR bumper, and would like to also install the newer style dual trailer plug that has both the 7 way and the 4 way connectors in it.
I can't seem to find the connector with the harness, I CAN find the connector all day in OEM and aftermarket, but NO harness.
I guess everyone that sells these connectors feels that everyone already has the harness, and is just needing to replace the connector itself because of damage.
ALSO: Does anyone know if the plug on the truck wiring itself is the same from '99 up?
Thanks! I have seen these. This is what my truck has at present. I have absolutely no idea where on my truck that BIG round connector would plug in. my truck has a smaller more square plug that the RV plug plugs into....I have looked and looked for a place to be able to plug in this BIG round connector, but if its there I can't find it.
