Wink Trailer Connector plug?

Anyone know what year the plug in AT THE TRUCK HARNESS changed-if at all from '99 up?

I'm going to try to go to the later style 7way/4way connector on my '99....

I want to just plug n play If I can. Thanks!

My E99 has the big round RV plug with the 4 pin flat right next to it. Looks factory to me. Was there when I bought it. I am assuming yours doesnt have it? And here I figured all 3/4 & 1 tons would be setup with a tow package automatically.

Mine has a 7way round common RV plug-I thought IT was factory-Mine is a '99 F350 Dually and I would have thought it came from the factory with the one that's on it now-but not I'm unsure.
What I'm trying to do is UNPLUG it AT THE TRUCK, remove it completely and install the newer style that has 2 doors-1 for the 7way, and 1 for the 4way......
I really don't want to cut and splice.........I know there is a way to plug n play.....

I need one too for a 99. Knocked mine off in a drift plowing.

Just got off the phone with the local dealer.

Plug into your existing factory harness, and remount it to the bumper.

199.0 plus tax (part only not installed)

Ain't happening, looking aftermarket. I'll post results.

There is a plug and play after market one available.
I purchased one years ago. Paid $20 or $30 for it.
Cannot remember the brand.

The aftermarkets are everywhere.........I have found the plug itself for as low as $55 on Ebay, but no one seems to know anything about the harness for it.

I'll check into the part number given. Thanks!

Go the etrailer.com That's where I got mine. Ck your connector under the rear bed/bumper area to confirm the style of connector you need. No splicing on mine. I ordered without looking at the OEM harness connector. Went to install it, and my was a square connector. Wrong. .
I called them and explained it, ordered the right one and they sent me the money back when I returned it. Great customer service.

Thanks Guys! I CALLED Etrailer, I have bought from them before, they are good, no doubt but THEY don't have a true plug n play unit available.....they HAVE the combo plug itself, but only carry the harness with 1 plug on it for the back of the combo unit, then cut n splice into existing wires-I really don't want to go this route.......

And as far as a wrecking yard here with a SuperDuty.....Good Luck!! not happening anytime soon........

MY LATE '99 has the more square plug in on the trucks harness for the RV connector....

Etrailer has a correct replacement unit (combo unit with 7way and 4 way with 2 completely different "doors") very reasonable, but just no plug n play harness from IT to the truck......

I FOUND "A" complete setup plug n play at ETrailer, BUT, it is for GM & Dodge!!

I have a call/Email into them to see if they have one that will fit our Fords.

Can't understand why GM & Dodge would be the same and Ford different.......But......

Autozone, etc carry a direct plug n play harness to replace the factory harness and trailer plug. I think its about $50.

But, if you unplug your OE stuff and take it to the workbench - you can solder/heat shrink something on it that would work fine.
