I'm surviving. I spend most of my time complaining about the smoke. I hear BC is going to get some rain, I hope it knocks some of the particulates out of the air. Not to mention, I think everywhere could use the moisture in the soil and in the rivers and lakes.
Spending some time in the next month out at lake Windermere and Mara/Sushwap lakes.
We desperately need rain.
The fires have been the worst i have ever seen by far.
Enjoy the Shuswap. ....it is a great area.
House boating?
The houseboat capital of Canada for sure.
So many out on the shuswap.
I usually go every second year, and did just that last year.
I take up my own boat to and tow it behind the houseboat.
Well, the smoke has lessened quite a bit, and looking at teh forecast, seems like we are past the worst of it now. That's good news.
Tree in my front yard has stopped dropping it's leaves, I guess the dim light from the smoke, plus a few cold nights have got the poor thing on a bit of an early schedule.
I have some overseas relatives, and they can't believe how much we talk about the weather over here, but honestly, it's always interesting. Might have something to do with the agricultural background many of us have too, I'm not sure.
I had someone at work pay me a really nice compliment about my work earlier today. About half an hour later, another co-worker basically told me to make love to myself.
I guess those two things even right out . . . . Yep . . ..
Hope you're all getting some kind words spoken to you, and if not, well, I love ya!
