Some kid with his hat or head on backwards came through the hood at the start of the month soliciting his services as a renovator, fence builder and landscaper. Silly kid, he got no work but I got a fence contract out of it, got to dig the post holes and set them in during the 2 day heatwave. Finished the job on Sunday, wow am I out of shape. That job got me a patio stone patio job, 176' of sidewalk stone replacement and regrading, a 4 panel 5 post 2 gate fence repair and the brother in law of the original job wants me to supervise a crew of students and refence his wifes 7 day cares. So, how did your month start lol. With the exception of the daycares I don't need to walk more than 150' to get to work and the cats follow me there and supply supervision, safety officer services. Me happy, happy, happy.
Supposed to be a hot one this week gents. Stay hydrated. I'm heading out to Lake Windermere. Supposed to be even hotter there. I'll be like a hippo, submerged up to my eyes.
Ended up putting an offer in on a house, so I'm selling my current one. Anyone want to buy a place in Cow-town?
Hope the house deal works out for you and I have been without internet for the last month and I will be popping in and out for the next few months until I get this thing all figured out.
I'll tell ya this 77, I sure miss living out by Chestermere, peacefull, no problem people and the lake was 5 minutes away. The only pita was servicing the water filtration system and getting the neighbours cattle back home after the ate the back 8 acres. 11 acres, house and heated 30' x 50' quonset for $1500 a month.
Wish I could send Sonnie next down your way to fix up your net problems soko. He fixed up ours and no problems since, went 51/2 years with bogus service from both telus and shaw. He learned electronic communication from the US military, hes my persian electronics and motorcyle repair man. Holds a camera for shaw as his day job.
Got my tracks and mecanism in and finished for the gantry, did some shelter reinforcement and resizing for clearance but thats on hold as I have 3 projects to finish and 1 to get started in order to get the f450 parts truck into the side shelter.
For someone who's not supposed to being doing anything harder than cutting the grass, I sure do a lot of hard work, cutting the grass is a break.
Got out on a big 400 km bike ride through Kananaskis today, took the better part of 8 hours and was a beautiful ride! Little, very little rain on the ride and just lots of hot. Hundreds of bikes out today was great.
Hope you all have a good C day, I get to go out back and get caught up on some truck, shelter and trailer work. Hold on, I do that most every day, think I'll do some yard work instead.lol. Avoid the raindrops.
Good luck on the house hunting 77.
Happy Thunderstorm season Folks. Hope it's not too smoky where you are. Man, with my allergies I would love it the entire continent got a week or two or rain. That would be amazing.
Boy is it smokey out tonight. So dense it smells strong... I can't believe this doesn't send the mosquitoes out though. Annoying birds they are. I thought they didn't like smoke.
