So my diesel-bronco project is curbed right now due to my donor truck being scrapped last week with out my knowledge. So Im looking for a t18/t19 or zf transmission for the bronco for the time. Something that will stay with the motor long after I pull everything down the road. I have a friend that has a t18 out of his 300 i6. It needs a rebuild kit he said, and he offered me the transmission for $50. Is that worth the buy?
Ok, so no on the T18. When I manage to get my hands on a T19 or Zf, if it doesnt come with a transfer case, will my T-case off my c6 fit on the back of either of those manuals? And will I have to get a different computer for the motor because of the transmission switch?
It looks like, due to current finances, I have to jump on the t18 my friend has. So another question, is the bellhousing bolt pattern the same from the 300 i6 as the 351w?
