I found the springs for sale for this truck. The list says they only had 1k miles on them when a lift was installed. What are the chances they are v/b codes? I asked him to check the door code, but he did not find it.
"4C34-5560-MA painted on the spring if that helps"
According to the vin, it was built with a V code BUT early V codes were ~410 lb/in, that spring is now a U code. A typical V code like the part number above is 430 lb/in. Not much difference. I don't know the code for the rear but it's 350 lb/in BUT doesn't transition to until ~2400 lbs, what this means is a good ride but not so good for towing/heavy load. You would definitely need to have the rear higher than the front due to this spring rate. Meaning, once you load up with cargo, it may sag. The 2400 lbs transition I mentioned is very late for what we use these trucks for. As an example, a B spring transitions at 1650 lbs, a SRW C transitions at ~1800 lbs. These numbers refer to sprung mass (above the axle). I've done the math before and weighed my truck and with a full tank, each spring sees ~1500 lbs. I have a spreadsheet somewhere on FTE that lists the spring you mentioned and many others.
PS that vin was built with 3C34 5310 ADA front springs, 4C34 5560 MA rear springs. Hope this helps your decision.
I was going to say that those front springs look significantly flatter than the ones I have in garage, plus I think the "b" codes have a spacer and another overload leaf on the top of the springs...it does get removed, but being a take-off it should still be there.
I think I am going to pass on these. They are a great deal for $60. But I use the truck mainly for towing a 30 ft camper. I don't want to be doing this a second time.

There are two part numbers for B codes, with and without the overload spring. Some prefer the version with the overload because you get a longer center pin (bolt) that you'll need for the B mod (if you're doing that).
