For a while now, I have been hearing a very high pitch whistle noise from the turbo/exhaust area. Everybody told me it was an exhaust leak, but I never could pin point the leak. While I was under the truck last weekend I found the flex joint on the passenger side up pipe was broken a leaking.
I ordered a Dorman replacement pipe that comes with a new gasket and hardware.
I will be the first to admit, I am not a fan of Dorman parts... BUT, this pipe is really nice. It looks identical to the pipe being sold on Dieselsite.com, it doesn't have the scoop inside to direct exhaust gas to the EGR cooler and it comes with all the mounting hardware.
I am interested in your thoughts on the dorman pipe. How did it seem to be built and how was fitment? Other Dorman products have not faired to well in the 6.0. I am interested to see how it holds up Vs the woven bellows type.

so far the build seems pretty solid. I can't comment on the fitment because I haven't installed it yet.
I couldn't find a replacement passenger side pipe with a woven bellows.
I just noticed today that my truck has an aftermarket up pipe. It's a 1 piece design, and instead of a bellows joint, it has what looks like braided stainless hose. I was thinking about changing it when I change motors just for insurance and peace of mind, but now that I know it has been changed, should I still swap it out?
new up pipe finally installed. pipe seemed to fit pretty well. I used some copper spray on the 2 exhaust gaskets to hold them in place while I was assembling everything.
Most difficult job was getting the turbo down pipe back in the truck.
