OK, so I was in your shoes a few months ago and I was going to weld in some plugs... decided against it.

What made me go with a full delete was a video I watched on youtube, beleve it was powerstrokehelp.com

What happens is where the pipe splits to the turbo and to the EGR, if you block off the EGR he back pressure creates excessive vibrations that eventually crack that pipe ($290).

Anyway, definitely not a mechanic, I don't even play one on T.V., but it made sense to me.

I opted to go with a full delete based on this info, even though I wanted to just do the weld (cheaper easier, and looks stock for emission).

Just my 2 cents...
