So I bought this and the shifter plastic thingamabob and the retaining (roll) pin about a year ago to replace the sloppy wollared out and ovaled collar that is in my daughters truck.
I was planning on replacing while I was replacing the Blinker assembly (electronics) and had the steering wheel off.
I couldn't figure out how to get the old one of and looked like it needed some drilling of pins or what not, needless to say the blinker harness went in and this still sits on the shelf.
Thought maybe if someone could explain or direct me to a thread that apparently seems to evade the search engine, I might actually get this thing installed.
I am well versed in the steering wheel removal and lock cylinder, just need to know how to get this darn thing off and replaced.
