For those of you that do not have those fancy tilt steering columns and are using the original column (with power steering) What amount of column drop are you using and would you change it if you could?
Will you be using a smaller steering wheel with your power steering? I would guess if it is 4" less in Diameter than the original then you would lower it 2" to keep the bottom of the wheel in roughly the same place. I am sure someone here has done what you are doing with the stock column.
I'm looking to install an aftermarket A/C for my 69.
How did the install go for you? Do you have pics of the compressor install under the hood you could show?
I have two belts on my alternator, but I thought the double belts were for the optional A/C compressor from the factory.
Sweet truck. Awesome modified vents.
Hum, you are posting a question about A/C in a '69 in a 5 year old thread about steering column drops in a '48-56 thread..
I think a new post in the right year would get more attention?

Poor guy is just another victim of the goofy FTE format of showing "related threads" below the one you're reading. It's easy to get lost looking for the reply panel and the next thing you know, you've posted to a 15 year old, unrelated thread.
