Passenger side of my 98 gator is sagging about 3 inches lower than the drivers side. Truck raises and lowers at the same time, but that passenger side is just not even with the drivers side.
Hmm, I'm trying to remember if there was a separate height sensor for each side in the front in 98. If there are, then then one of them might have come loose from it's mount.
I'm sure there is some sensor that reads the roll of the vehicle to ensure it stays level when changing the height, this may give a false reading. A factory service manual would give the proper troubleshooting steps for this
Same car, same year... You have 2 sensors in total. One for rear - located between rear wheels attached to the frame, ane one for front - driver side, behind the wheel, atached to the frame and upper control arm. Comparing them system knows if there is any roll.
I'd check the air bags for air leaks first. Check if the lower side pumps at all, and if there are any signs of leak. If it pumps and no air is runing away, then try to adjust the torsion bars. I had the same problem. Torsion bars are getting softer in time and mine required 2 or 3 turns to level the car.
