Add IPR%, ICP psi/HPOP, VGT%, and EGR% to that screen.
ok.. is there a true boost gauge also? those seem to be pretty low? My coolant never got over that? at nights when the temp was 50's it would be around 145-155 on the coolant side

You show boost and MAP, which are very close to each other. They should be identical, as they should draw their data from the same sensor.
The boost numbers seem low, but looking at those screens, you were probably running +/-65mph, on flat ground, with no real headwind or load. If you were running slightly downhill speeds could be higher. Check your max boost. WOT on a clear highway, from 40mph on to 70 or so. You should see low 20PSI.
You also might want to change the oil/ oil and fuel filters to be safe. These motors are particular about those parts. Stick with genuine Motorcraft until you learn more.
Do you still have the bad tires ?? I do not think you are showing the correct D.O.T. #s. You need to look at the other D.O.T. #s on the other side of the tire. It will be only 4 #s in an embossed raised circle. The 1st 2 #s are the week & the 2nd 2 are the year. I still don't know what the DOT #s you are showing are BUT they do it that way on all tires.
That's the full DOT code that has to used to register the tires when they are sold. One of the tires was manufactured in the 49th week of 2001 and the other the 10th week of 2002.
The DMV does not do/require safety inspections - only emissions. The safety is supposed to be done by the dealer (lol?)
I hate to say this but you may not have any simple/easy recourse since the dealer told you about the change of tires and you still proceeded with the purchase of the vehicle.
Honestly - you should have immediately contacted the dealer and/or turned around and got it back to the stealership - they were legally obligated to take the vehicle back based on the tires (it falls under drivetrain)
I am NOT a lawyer however your best recourse is probably going to be to file a lawsuit citing gross negligence (putting 14 year old tires on the truck). Most of the time it's going to be cheaper for them to settle than to take you to court. You, however, are going to have to pony up some money for a lawyer.
I know this doesn't help you now but I never, ever, ever purchase from used dealers (I call them nickel and dime dealerships). Generally all they are doing is polishing turds. I test drove several Excursions from these types of places and had them all inspected by a mechanic - everything from trashed transmissions to odometer rollbacks to unreported accidents and crappy repair.
I only drive about 5000 miles a year and nothing more than about 2 hours at a time.
I change the filter every year but like I said, no problems as of yet.
So if he has a filter sitting in the garage which is not currently being used, then he should go ahead and give it a try. If it does have an issue (which I doubt will happen) at least he tried.

That's about what I figured, lol!
I drive the **** out of my trucks. The '01 has 410K on it (bought new) and the '05 has just under 179K bought with (123K on it).
So in a year and a half, I've driven over 56K. That's alot of heat cycles and time to for the hoses to fail.
