I was installing the boost gauge in my truck yesterday. When I was connecting the engine side of the tube to the AIH port, I dropped the tiny brass ring that slides around the tube. It fell somewhere under the hood. I spent 20 minutes looking for it and gave up.
Of course, now I can't get a good seal. Does anyone have any good suggestions on where I might be able to get another ring?
I guess I should have checked the auto parts store before posting because they sell them there. I don't know why, but I just assumed it was going to be a hard part to find.

No worries, it works both ways.......
Friday I though finding a can of spray paint to repaint my pillar gauges was gonna be easy - so I didn't add to my order with Riffraff.........Long story short - I spent more on fuel than the damn can of paint driving around trying to find Colorbond paint.....

A did same with the paint, you are not alone. It's late for you and me but for others I did find painted gauge posts on the web somewhere since then and they are not too expensive.
