I see there are two kinds of pump used with the '96 F150 super cab EB 5.0,
one with metric fittings and one with SAE. Can one tell by the wrench size that will fit the connector? An 11/16" will fit, and neither nearest metric sizes will fit. I'd like to make sure before geting the pump for this weekend's project. TIA.
I know this thread is almost 2 year old, but I thought I would inquire as I'm looking for an answer.
And guessing from the lack of responses, the user decided not to pursue the issue.
Hopefully the user will enlighten us with an answer as I'm curious myself.

I did pursue the issue here but no dice. What I did was remove the pump and bring it to the parts place and found in my case it was metric. That's the best I can tell you. I have a 5.0 Mustang too. it's an SAE.
