Power steering pump question
I have a brand new power steering pump for and 80s, ford mustang 5.0 and i was woundering if the power steering pump that came out of a mustang are the same as the one thats in my 88 F250 with a 351 W.

I think some of the older 351s came with the Saginaw style pump. The Mustang one you have is a Ford, plastic reservoir, pump. They are known to be a little noisy at times.
If the one in your truck is the Saginaw pump, it will have a steel reservoir. If that is what your truck has, they wont interchange without using a newer pump mounting bracket.
