AC Compressor Clutch
When i purchased my e99 7.3 I realized that it had a bad motor and the ac lines where taken apart. I swapped the motor with another one I knew ran with a good AC. However, after the swap the compressor will not engage. It is not getting power to it. I jumped the compressor from the battery and it worked fine. The clutch engaged, it took the freon just fine, and the AC blew cold. I just can't seem to figure out why its not getting power. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the connections at the high pressure switch at the line from the compressor? The switch there is known to have connectivity issues in the terminals. Usually solved with a new switch. Check for power at the wires and try wiggling the connection.

Do you "not" have power at the low pressure switch at the Accumulator/Drier, as well? The pressure switches are wired in "series" and must go thru it before the high pressure switch, then on to the a/c clutch. Are the other functions of the a/c control working normally?
