Hello all,
I typically use the sight for the pre-powerstroke diesel forum but the running and driving part of the project is finished. Now I am working cosmetics and need some advise. I want to build a ranch hand or road armor style front bumper for my 90-250. I cant seem to find one for less than 1500 bucks and I can buy all the material that I need for 1/5 of that price and have the knowledge and tools for build my own. I am looking to see if anyone has any blue prints or websites that may possibly give me what I need to get started. Any advise is appreciated. THX
Companies that build these bumpers are not going to give out the blueprints with out lawsuits, there all copy protected. If you know someone who has one you can copy it that way, or use your imagination and start your own custom build, 1/4 inch plate and a MIG welder will get you started, take pictures as you go. Sorry no help here.
i work in corrugated so I have seen guys that try and build using flat sheets and put it together that way and use that as a template so I will try that when I get home today. thx for your help
