Custom bumper build
so I’ve read several threads here on people who’s fabbed their custom bumper. I plan to build one for the front of my 04 superduty soon. I’ve got a bunch if 1/2” sheet steel which would make for one heck of a stout bumper but the weight would be tremendous so, I’ll probably look for something between 7-11ga.
One thing I definitely want to incorporate in the build is for the bumper to stick out far enough and have a flat top so that I have a platform to stand on while wrenching on my 6.0.
So ive seen lots of designs here with lots of info. If anyone who has built one has any advice on things they would have done differently or tips to make things easier, please feel free to share.
