MAF Conversion
Hi all, Ive been looking at finally converting my 92 460 E40d to a maf setup so I can look at a few more upgrades in the future, possibly a remote mount turbo setup but I have had a few questions. As far as I can see I need to pick up a computer from a 1994-5 f150 california truck with a 5.0 and a e40d trannsmission, its maf sensor and its wiring harness. I just dont understand how I would wire it up. Would I just swap out harnesses and plug and play or would it require splicing the harnesses together? And would I need to do tuning as soon as installed with Moates QuarterHorse tuning software or a similar tuning software or would the computer run the system un-tuned?
