Thanks Stewart....I did look at post #20...and if I read it correctly..they say the distance measured is from the top of the step to the bottom of the rocker. It just didn't make sense to me the first couple times I read that post...

Now, I'll compare to the factory boards on the truck.

What's driving part of this is that the factory boards are starting to look worn/faded...

These things are definitely on my "will do eventually" list.

I don't like the stock step, but I definitely use the thing to get in my truck.

Power steps that fold out of the way are a must for me, haha.

One more question about the Power Steps, please. Okay...two.

If I see it correctly, it looks like the Power Steps are a couple inches lower when deployed than the factory black steps. Since I'm used to the boards at that height...my concern is that they'll be too low to easily get into the seat.

Can anyone comment on the height of the Power Steps?

And...looking at the instructions on-line, a hole needs to be drilled to mount the brackets but I can't understand where that hole is.

I wouldn't use the LEDs with the boards, I made my own LED set-up long ago that I'm pleased with...so I won;t have to drill for the LEDs.
