Connecting to trailer lights

I am going to install a cab rack.
I am going to install Stop/Tail/Turn lights on the cab rack.
I will be using a 7 pole junction box under the bed.
The existing 7 pole blade trailer socket also has a cable attached 4 flat connector.
Is there a product that will mount inline, between the factory connectors?
Or, at the front of the cab, where the trailer harness plugs in.

Maybe something like the Hopkins 40157? Endurance? Ford

Looks like it would work. I used something similar:
https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-...893-11932.html

I put a 7-pin in the bed for the gooseneck hitch, then piggybacked the rack wiring off the second plug's wires. Use waterproof or adhesive-lined heat shrink to protect the wiring, and solder instead of using crimps and it should hold up fine.

My truck also has a 7-pin in the bed for the gooseneck hitch.

Shouldn't I add some fuses, somewhere?

Your truck should already have relays and fuses for the 7 pin trailer connector. Look in the owners manual and it should show you where they are located.

I'm afraid that would get in the way, when hauling dirt etc.
I may be able to connect to those same wires, underneath the bed.
That would be at the front, where I need it.
