Isn't this the truck that you bought from a friend.........after it sat for several years?

How many years did it sit?

I vaguely remember your original post with pictures.

guys,
got the tranny rebuild localy
after installation yesterday went for a drive today after 3 miles it didnt want to go forward or reverse.

left it sitting there for cool of and bam it stared to go forward and reverse again

i have new dieselsite tru-cool transmission cooler.

ideas?

If you have not done it yet send Ed at FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
an email and see if he can get you a
Ford one, I got mine from him and saved
over $1500 on the price that Ford wanted
for the thing. It should come inn a shipping crate
the only thing that mine was needing when it got to
me was a few quarts of oil. You will need to find a place
that can flush the lines and cooler/coolers.

has anyone heard good things about the dieselsite torque converters?

are they good?

i need to replace mine.

some input would be nice

I have never heard anything good or bad about them.

I have heard nothing but good things about BTS

Try giving BTS a call, he will give you an honest opinion about the dieselsite converter if he knows anything about it, or buy a converter from him.
