Glad it worked well for you. Post back later if you have any problems with it (Or not). That part number is a rebuilt unit correct?

Yes, Napa 449301 is the one I bought. Warranty.

NAPA AUTO PARTS #449301 Starter

edit: Hmm, 3 months ago I posted a 3 year warranty but now it looks like a Lifetime warranty until you read the warranty document.

This warranty applies to American and import cars, vans and light trucks under 8,000 lbs.
G.V.W. For vehicles used for towing, racing, public service, security or government use,
off-highway recreational use, four-wheel drive off-highway competition, fleet or commercial use,
see below.
• Warranty is one (1) year from date of purchase for commercial, fleet, government/
security under 8,000 lbs. G.V.W.
• Warranty is two (2) years from date of purchase for light trucks and vans
equipped with diesel engines under 8,000 lbs. G.V.W.
• Warranty is for ninety (90) days from date of purchase for off-highway/
competition under 8,000 lbs. G.V.W.

My F350 has a diesel engine and a GVWR of 13,000. I guess I have no warranty, technically. But the counter guy told me 3 years. I will worry about it if and when the time comes.

I had to do the starter on my 2006 the other day and went with an Oreillys auto, at 129.00 with lifetime warranty at that price I didn't even shop around. I have no idea exactly what it is, gear reduction or what. I do know this things turns over faster and is smaller than any starter ive ever seen. Very pleased so far. Well see how it holds up...

If it's small I'd bet it's gear reduction. They are nice aren't they.
