Considering AT Tire size: 32x11.50R15LT 113Q
Will this tire work along with this wheel size (next line) on my vehicle?
Wheel Size: 15x10 with 5x5.5 bolt pattern and 3.75 backspacing.
I have cooper discover as3 on my truck bc they came on it and they're good but if I needed tires I would just get BFG in 31x10.50 and call it a day. Can't beat them. That's the size of my tires now. Why chance rubbing otherwise for a slightly bigger tire? If u went with different wheels and bigger offset then sure but my vote is keep the stock wheels and get BFG 31x10.50. Those wheels may accommodate larger tires but I don't know. It's all about the offset
I recently got some new Cooper Discoverer AT3 31 10.50s and really like them so far. I actually like them better than the BFG AT that I used to run on my old truck for years. I don't think I'll switch back.
A 15x10 wheel is too wide for a 32 11.50. It stretches the sidewall out wider than the tread and looks goofy. I'd go with a 15x8. I had this setup for a few years before, and it was fine. The only possible rubbing is on the radius arm and full turn. I generally prefer to just stick with stock wheels and 31 10.50 though.
I have to disagree with the wearing fast on the stt. I have 15,000 miles on mine and they are in great shape! Just rotate them every 3 to 5k miles to ensure even tread wear. Will the tires last as long as an at3? Of course not but I bet I can get 30k miles out of them
Brad I think 30k is very reasonable for a mud type tire. I bet I might surpass that with these too. Who knows? Out of any other tire I agree 50k or more, but mud tires in general are not known for lots of miles lol and if you decide to put them on a rig you have to live with that.
Burnouts are fun but yeah suck on tires. I can't imagine how quickly you could burn off a set of tires like mine and I won't be finding out either lol
