1969 F100Got headlights and tail lights ONLY .. All new bulbs, ground wires replaced, turn signal switch in steering column replaced. Brake light switch new...HELP!!
If I had your troubles, I'd read wiring schematic diagram and do some troubleshooting by verifying power with a voltage meter at different points where there should power and trace it back to the source of where the signal voltage is supposed to originate.
Like HIO Silver said, I would go here and read some wiring schematics for your truck.
Luckily, the wiring on these trucks is pretty basic.
Other than that I am not too sure what to tell you.
If you follow the schematic and compare it to the wiring currently in your truck,
eventually you will find out what is causing these issues.
You can go here and make a post in the Electrical Systems / Wiring
section and get some good help / information from Franklin2.

I think it's called "troubleshooting".
Ha, Yep I know what it is called and NO the hazards don't work. I have fluked metered different interception points in the wiring harness checking for continuity and for dead shorts. Replace both turn signal and emergency flashers, replaced turn signal accessembly switch in the steering column. I DO have a wiring schematic and have checked. That's why I am on here to hopefully get some other clues as to what to do next. I am very familiar with Root Cause Analyse. Thank You

Thank You! The T/S switch I purchased was for the serial # 30,001 and above . My problem is I am not sure what serial number my truck is. The door jams have been striped and painted.. So is there another way to find out?
Check the fuse? If that's OK the separate wires of the T/S switch you replaced is prolly the problem. Did you match up wire colors? Double check yourself there.
