oil filter location problems

Im currently installing a freshly built 460 back in my 86 f250, its the original engine just the block is different. By different i mean its actually a 1971 429 block n i took all the parts from the original engine n built it into a 460. The oil filter adaptor in the block doesnt appear to be removable, anyone know how to get that out of the block so i can possibly use the original filter adaptor that bolted to the 86 block?

When i put my 79 460 in my 84 F350 I had to cut the frame out to fit a remote oil filter system on it. Then mounted the filters to the core support!

referring to wrench and heat? You will need both. It shouldn't take much heat and you don't want to get the block red hot in any one spot.

Better late than never.....
I ended up using a big ol monkey wrench to remove the original filter mount stud, destroyed it but at least it gave me a better idea n a visual on what i needed. Lucked out n found a local guy that had the part i needed, guess it was common on ford E vans
