D60 spindle removal
Any tricks to removing the spindles on a ball joint D60? I've been soaking it with Liquid Wrench and smacking with a hammer for 2 days.
Frustrated......

Thanks. I stopped by 2 this morning. They both have the slide hammer but not a threaded socket big enough to fit the spindle.
I'll check Napa on Monday.

I cut the balljoints and put the whole knuckle on a press. The spindle came right out.

Thanks Rusty. Found the '4wd spindle puller' at the local Autozone. Just had to point them to the right part nbr.
Worked like a charm, 1st spindle off in about 20 hits, 2nd in 6 hits. Too easy.

Yes, they are by far the best way I have found to pull the spindle.
Also the auto zone one will fork on a dana 44 axle too
