The other weekend my clutch hose got too close to my headers and burned a hole in it. I need a new one but I am having trouble finding the part. I have a 92 f150 with a np435 trans. If anyone can give me a part number that would be awesome. Also how does the hose connect to the master and slave cylinders? Is it a quick connect or a pin? The hose swivels in the slave but I do not see a fitting. Also the slave has no bleeder screw which puzzles me. I have no problem out of the system. Just need the replacement hose. Thanks!
Provided your truck has the internal slave you can buy the hose, DORMAN Part # 628201 {#F3TZ7A512A} but it's almost $40. They are quick connect at the slave and pin.o-ring at the master. The slave does have a bleeder, look again.

Actually its not an internal slave its an external slave because as I said its on an np435 transmission. And no it does not have a bleeder on the slave cylinder it doesn't matter how many times I look. Now I need the part number for the hose for an NP435 with an external slave and what kinds of fittings on each end.
I think you have the setup with a small roll pin you remove to detach the line. The bleeder is just a small Allen screw that sits flush with the surface of the slave. It is really easy to strip the threads in the plastic slave cylinder. Just snug it up. You might need to go to the ford dealer to get it.
Some of these setups you could buy the master, slave, and line pre bled. Maybe they didnt have a bleeder on those but I would think it would. Some of them are really hard to bleed. I did one that I ended up removing the wholevthing from the truck so I could bleed it while holding the slave higher than the master.
Yes but I need the actual part number for the clutch line? Has anyone ever had to replace one? I do not need a new master or slave just the line between them. I find it hard to believe the line itself is this hard to find.

Just go to the ford dealer and tell them what you need. If they don't know how to look it up you need a different dealer. You could check rockauto.com and see if they sell the line or possibly the whole assy like I was talking about.
You can check out the Advanced Auto Parts Website. Put your truck year, model and motor and look at the clutch parts. You should be able to find you part number and anything else you need.
