damn auto unlock wont work

I cant get the damn auto unlock to work ive enabled it and disabled it and nothing still reset it all and all that just got the truck to dammit any pointers or anything guys would be appreciated

Don't you have to shut the truck off for them to work?

I dunno but evn then it don't work I had the exact truxk I just traded in and it worked when I went to park

check for broken wires / elect. shorts in the wire bundles that go between the door and the truck frame. I smelled a hot burning smell and door locks refused to work. A lot of broken / fried wires were found that possibly originated from wires damaged between door and truck frame. There is a corrugated wire tube that the wires are in.

Edit: I didn't know there was an auto unlock feature.

On mine, my doors auto unlock only with trans in park and engine off. When I open the driver door, the rest will unlock (only because I selected that option in the menu.)
