This part number was discontinued a while back, and is not compatible with newer trucks (ie. 15 Super Duty, 15 F-150).

The remote on my 2015 has locked and started the truck from 100 yards away. There was a clear line of sight, and a uphill grade to where the truck was parked, but I only had to push the buttons once. Normally I can crank it from inside my house to where the truck is parked about 60 feet away and it has no problems.
