It is close but with pipe that big it doesnt heat up enough to cause issues with the tire, i have towed with this system and havent seen any issues with it.
Its a diamond eye system with mbrp tip
I have the rear mount moved back on the exhaust, I had it moved back for mud flap clearance, so the factory location would have the pipe even further away from the spare tire I believe....
OK. is that for a OBS, or is that a SD setup on an OBS?

I am going to say a 235/85/16 since that looks like the OEM Firestone Steeltex tire that came on the truck
Man, I'd say Diamond Eye is the way to go.. I've seen your user name on other forums; have you asked the question in other places?
I didn't even bother. I searched and the go to was MBRP. I wouldn't put their crap on if it were free. I learned my lesson. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice......
What has me leaning toward the Diamond eye is it is MADE for an OBS. not for a SD

AMEN... As you know, I got the full system w the test pipe, no muffler and there was trimming involved but other than that it was mint.. Iirc it was the pipe b4 the one that goes over the axle..
Ok. Sold the truck. Now Muffler or no muffler on the 5" kit?
Nice, congratulations. I personally like the sound the truck makes in my set up. I wonder how different it is between peoples own configurations tho. I mean i have stock splits, 6637, and stock turbo + obviously im just about as long as you can get.. Theres gotta be a noticeable sound/tone difference with length, components etc etc.. Worse comes to worse you could go one way and if you didnt like it you could go the other if you use those band clamps.. Or you could order the system with the muffler then order the "test" pipe seperate?
