Plow

I just picked up a 89 F250 with a Rt1 Boss v-plow. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to change the fluid on these old plows and if anyone has a manual for one.

Plowsite.com is a pretty good forum. You should be able to download the manual from the boss website.

Okay I will try the plow site, but Boss doesn't have any manuals for my plow, only for the ones that came after it.

I didn't notice you had an rt1, I've only worked on the rt3's.

Should be a plug on the bottom of the housing, allen key?

I will have to try and find the spot to drain the plow. I am still trying to figure this thing out so I can transfer the plow to a different truck and have it be fully functional.
