snow plow??

Owners Guide says not to plow with a truck that isn't equipted with the factory snow plow option. Why not? What changes have to be made? Truck is the F250 SD PSD and Auto/4x4

Different spriings in the plow prep package, fronts are the
X spriing.

snow plow??

do you know how I can find out the "rate" for the plow springs so I can obtain something aftermarket?

I believe they are rated at 6000#
