95 inline 6 swap
i m new here this is my first ever engine pull i have a 1995 Ford F350 2wd with the inline 6 it started knocking about a month ago and last Tue before the snow it gave up. still turns over other than my motorcycle this is my only transportation. i just got a tow truck to take it home yesterday i need to pull the motor in mine so i can make sure i can do it before i go to pick a part to pull one there.l am looking for any manuals, videos, tips i don't know lol i just put new radiator, water pump and thermostat in it a couple months ago fo i know how all that comes off

my Questions is does anyone know of any manuals, videos, or tips to help me with my first ever engine pull! my hayes book is not helpful at all unhoock everything and remove.
i was given a honda with bad engine and i was able to find sep by step on that on. but need to fix ford first i have already pulled radiator, water pump and fan, air cleaner, but it just continues to rain here need to pull next dry day

Your best bet is to post in the 87-97 section. There's a lot more traffic there.
I've never pulled a six so I can't be too much help, but I'm sure there are people who have that can give you advice.

I have a '95 F250 with the inline 6, never needed to pull it though. I can tell you that another option may be to convert it to a V8. The 351W (5.8L) V8 has the same bell housing as the 300 (4.9L) I6. Other than that, I can't tell you much else.
