Exclamation Poor Peter

So Peter (duckfan) is still not home. He overheated in TN, fortunately enough Clay and Nick caught up to him and helped him replace the water pump in a WalMart parking lot. Then, he started overheating again in Kansas and they replaced the fan clutch and thermostat. Now he is stuck in Colorado and getting ready to replace the radiator.

Hopefully this will solve his issues!! Any other suggestions are appreciated!!

Thank you

P.S. Prayers help too! (Especially when you are stuck on the road with seven kids )

I have been talking with him and nick off and on the past 2 days. JL and I are defiantly keeping him and his family in our prayers.

Maybe if he didn't have so many kids to weigh that rig down too much, he'd be ok!!!

Just kiddin'!

Hope he gets it figured out and back home soon.

Shed some kids, there is to much weight in the truck??? ( I typed this long ago, but left the office before I hit send )

The only thing I can think of is 2 things.

head gaskett.

in need of a flush and fill of the coolant

I am hoping the second, or that I am wrong all together.

They are working on replacing the radiator right now so we shall see... I feel bad for him also because of how much extra money nhe must be spending on all this.

Wow talk about bad luck!!!!!
What's with cooling problems and RRE events. Wasn't Clay having cooling problems on his way back last year?
Prayers sent for a safe return home!

UPDATE:

I just talked to Peter and his dad lives in Denver and a friend of his dad's owns a shop and got him a great deal on a radiator. The shop owner is also letting Peter use the shop to replace the radiator. In my way of thinking that shop owner is now an honorary member of FTE. Don't you all agree?

The shop is Meier Trucking in Commerce City, CO. A huge thanks to them. They even got me the radiator at their cost. We are headed there now with the radiator.

Good luck Peter and I hope the best for you and family. I'm sure they are getting a little restless by now.
